Tourism activities - There is plenty to see and do in the Cairns area and we have a huge range of brochures available to help you make you selection, be it a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, the Kuranda Train, Skyrail or the Daintree River to name a few.

Kuranda Railway is a 90-minute rail adventure that takes you from Cairns with its tropical rainforest to the charming village of Kuranda, passing spectacular waterfalls and majestic views.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Cairns Australia, is a world first in environmental tourism taking you on an amazing experience over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest.

Trips to the tablelands are best done by car and we can organise a hire vehicle for you for that purpose.

We can also organise some nudist activities such as a Nude Cruise to the Reef or a visit to a Farm Stay on the tablelands with a beautiful creek and billabong. Your hosts are members of the local nudist club, The Barrier Reef Sun Club and our guests are always welcome at any of the Club functions.

Cairns Tropical Zoo is located at Palm Cove, only 5 minutes north of Kaikea.  Established in 1980, Cairns Tropical Zoo is the largest and most diverse wildlife attraction in Tropical North Queensland
